RSO Guide: Culinaire

Described as a “haven for anyone who loves food,” Culinaire is Enderun’s premier culinary organization. Vice President Pat Benedicto adds, “We help our members learn everything there is to know about the food business, whether it be through restaurant tours, seminars, special talks, and of course, time in the kitchen. Not only do we encourage learning about food, but proper planning of events and large scale productions. Through these experiences, our members will become confident entering the hospitality industry, having that extra advantage.”

Culinaire is also very much involved in charity work. Last year, they played host to cancerstricken
kids from the Make-a-Wish Foundation whose dream jobs were to become chefs. The kids were able to cook in the Restaurant 101 kitchen, learning classic recipes. This year, Culinaire will be working with Kythe for their fundraising bake sale in August. Kythe is an NGO from Ateneo that helps terminally ill children cope with the challenges of hospitalization through their Child Life Program in different hospitals.
