Thunderbird School of Global Management Partners with Enderun Colleges

The 15th day of March 2012 marks a milestone in Enderun history. Walking into the campus, one certainly notices the gigantic letters planted on the campus lawn. These letters form two words, each one representing an institution for higher education, Enderun and Thunderbird. The cause for celebration is the ratification of a partnership between the two schools.

As stated in thunderbird.edu, Thunderbird School of Global Management is the “world’s No. 1-ranked school of international business with more than 65 years of experience in developing leaders with the global mindset, business skills and social responsibility necessary to create real, sustainable value for their organizations, communities and the world.” Thunderbird has been the top school for Master of Business Administration for years. Its courses are going to be intergrated into the curriculum of Enderun’s business programs. Enderun’s undergraduates will now be able to earn their Enderun degrees with Thunderbird Online Executive Certificates, making them more attractive as prospective employees for the growing number of multinational companies in the Philippines.

In signature Enderun fashion, a cocktail reception was held at the Business Administration Building. It was transformed from an ordinary edifice to a decked out salon. Upon entering the building one is immediately overcome by a sense of excitement palpitating from the crowd. This feeling, intermingled with the warmth of the Enderun community, paved the way for a successful event whereby the contract of a partnership between two prestigious institutions was signed. The agreement was engaged by Samir Mehta, Business Development Director of Thunderbird Online and Dr. Edgardo Rodriguez, Dean of Enderun’s College of Business and Entrepreneurship.

She enjoys writing because of its cathartic nature and how it can be used to relay her thoughts, feelings and ideas. In her view, the idea that great works of art can be created by the effective use of words demonstrates its simplicity, potency and beauty.
