Ducasse Institute Philippines

Enderun Colleges in the Philippines has been chosen to be the home of the first Ducasse Institute outside France. This milestone in culinary education in Asia will be inaugurated on 19 April 2012 at the Culinary Center of Enderun’s sprawling McKinley Hill Campus in Metro Manila. “I have always endeavored to pass on my vision of cooking. I share my know-how to all people willing to strengthen their culinary skills with a single motto in mind: excellence in practice,” speaks Alain Ducasse about Ducasse Education. Arriving in the country for the global launch are Sophie de Segonzac, Ducasse Institute Project Manager, and David Saedi, Chief Executive Officer of Ducasse Education.

Ducasse Education is “all the rigorous, creative and enthusiastic spirit of the great French chef consumed by his passion for food and eager to transmit his knowledge. It offers continuous professional training in pastry and cooking, offering courses leading to a first qualification as well as conversion programs.” Through the various courses, culinary students and professional chefs have benefited from the highest level of training for the past 12 years. This same knowledge and expertise reflect the spirit of his restaurants spread in 11 countries which includes Le Louis XV in Monaco, Plaza Athenée in Paris, and The Dorchester in London. This educational arm of Alain Ducasse, touted as “the most prolific culinary hands-on training in the world,” is located in the flagship school in Argenteuil, France and the Philippines as the base of its first international campus.

Enderun Colleges partnered with Alain Ducasse in 2007 to offer students in Asia the opportunity to undergo the same level of training in culinary arts. The venture of these two prestigious institutions is backed with a solid list of faculty coming from all over the world. With the birth of Ducasse Institute Philippines, Enderun Colleges is set to continue to bring the most celebrated culinary arts education in the region.

Founded in 2005, Enderun Colleges is emerging as one of the country’s leading management institutions offering degrees in international hospitality management, business administration and entrepreneurship. It has affiliations with Les Roches International School of Hotel Management in Switzerland and Spain, the Ducasse Education in France and the Thunderbird School of Global Management in the United States of America.
