Driven, Unyielding, and Committed!  Three values that make the Enderun PEP Squad and Dance Crew.

Led by Captain Ameena Athab, the 16 members of Enderun’s Pep Squad and Dance Crew trains every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights.  Despite being a young team and having a majority of its members as beginners, the girls joined three competitions this past school year.

Last November 19, 2017 the squad joined the Women Colleges Sports Association (WCSA) Cheer Dance Competition held at Rizal Memorial Stadium. Nine members proudly represented Enderun Colleges, dancing to the cheers and yells of their schoolmates. They advanced from routine drills to do some splits and jumps that excited the crowd screaming, “Go Titans!”

Earlier this year, the squad competed twice in March.  The first time was on March 6 for competition organised by the National Athletic Association of Schools, Colleges and Universities (NAASCU). It was billed as the HipHop Competition held at San Andres Coliseum. Competitors showed off different choreographic styles, like whacking and dance hall. The second time was on March 18, where their first ever national competition, Dance Supremacy.  Held at the AFP Theatre, this was the first competition of the Enderun Pep Squad and Dance Crew complete with all 16 members.

According to the squad, it was an incredible experience to compete against 13 professional teams.  It was also frightening to stand on a big stage, in front of a big cheering crowd.

“We gave our  full 200% energy on the plateau, as we heard ‘Laban, Puso, Hataw! Lets go EDC!’”

Watch for their next competition! Let’s Go Enderun!
