The Enderun Food and Wine Society (EFWS) is a well-known name in Enderun. It is known not only as the co-curricular Hotel Administration organization, or that organization that hones it’s members to be industry ready, but also as one of the organizations that has been able to provide job opportunities to their members even before they graduate.

Good things come in threes and the IHM Special Projects Team definitely showcased that with the third and final installment of their event series, The Great Food Challenge, held last April 24. After an exciting day with eggs and another thrilling day featuring Spam, the event organizers did not disappoint with this team challenge called the 2 Course Meal Contest.

After the first installment of The Great Food Challenge, the IHM Special Projects Team was back last April 15 with the second iteration of their event series which was The Slice ‘em Spam Contest.

Last April 8, the IHM Special Projects Team held the first part of a new event series called The Great Food Challenge, where students can compete against one another in a set of challenges centered around a specific theme. This first installment called the Egg-tastic Challenge had two main events: The Egg White Whipping Challenge and The Egg Dish Plating Challenge.

Last February 22, 2021, the Enderun Food and Wine Society held a panel discussion called “EFWS Industry Talks: Career Focus: Jobs in the Wine Industry.” Hosted by Mr. Thirdy Ramirez, President of EFWS, and moderated by Ms. Chie Gatchalian of Five and a Half Twists.
