The month of May gives us the opportunity to reminisce on the journey of our beloved campus. Unfortunately because of the pandemic, a lot of new students haven’t had the opportunity to see how amazing and breathtaking our campus is. But don’t worry as we celebrate Enderun Founder’s Day, allow us to take you on a trip of how Enderun has changed through the years!

The Campus

When Enderun Colleges was first established, the campus was located at Ortigas Center’s Wynsum Corporate Plaza where the school occupied the 2nd and 19th floors while the current campus was still under construction. Now our campus is situated in the McKinley Hill area of Fort Bonifacio with beautifully structured buildings.

All four academic buildings provide a unique learning environment to hone and polish the skills of future industry leaders. The Hotel Administration Center (formerly known as the Embassy) and the College of Business, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (formerly known as the Museum) are inspired by Asian Colonial Architecture with modern interiors.

The initial project of the Enderun Tent was supposed to be a hotel. Now the purpose of this venue is to hold large gatherings like corporate events, bazaars, and more. The Enderun Tent, which is 700 square meters, offers an astonishing space that can easily accommodate up to 800 guests.

The Titan’s Hall was originally a multi-purpose hall. Around 2013, it expanded to house the Enderun’s library, dance studio, the gym, and basketball court.

The Milestones

In 2006, Enderun Colleges operated with only 80 students while at the Wynsum Campus. The college back then only offered one degree (International Hospitality Management) with two majors (Hotel Administration and Culinary Arts). The school also completed an academic partnership with Les Roches International School of Hotel Management, one of the most highly regarded schools in the world.

2008
In the year 2008, Enderun Colleges transferred to the McKinley Hill campus in Fort Bonifacio with 450 students. They also established an academic partnership with the Ducasse Education, a leading French culinary institute that offered Enderun culinary students the opportunity to earn certificates from the Ducasse Education and to learn the methods of Alain Ducasse, one of the world’s most celebrated chefs.

2009
In 2009, the population of Enderun reached 650 students and this was the year in which they launched their second-degree program, the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration along with different majors namely Business Process Management and Consulting, Finance and Wealth Management, and Marketing Management.

2010
This was the year when Enderun Colleges’ pioneer batch graduated and the year the school also launched their third-degree program which is the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship with special focus on family enterprise. This program gives the students the opportunity of planning, managing, and improving their family enterprise.

2012
The student population hit the 1,000 and the college department accommodated two important events. In this year Enderun Colleges partnered with Thunderbird School of Global Management and became the first global partner of Thunderbird Online where they combined online learning with in-classroom classes. With this partnership, all business and entrepreneurship students would be able to graduate with an Enderun Degree as well as a Thunderbird Certificate. In the same year, Enderun Colleges was declared the first Ducasse Education outside of France.

2013
It was this year that a milestone for internships was hit: 1,000 students had internship placements and more than half were done in international destinations.

2014
In 2014, Enderun launched their fourth-degree program, Bachelor of Science in Economics – a program that enhances a student’s competency in management, leadership, and social entrepreneurship. It was also this year that the school partnered with Yeungnam University in South Korea.

2015
Enderun began offering a sustainability program under the degree of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. This program combines sustainability into every aspect of a business. It enables the students to identify sustainable solutions into their goals. In the same year Enderun Colleges launched The Study which is the Enderun’s Tutorial and Language Center.

2017 – 2018
Enderun opened its door to incoming Senior High School students. During its launch, the program only offered the ABM strand. However, in 2018, they added two more strands namely HUMSS and GAS.

2020
Enderun Colleges added new programs namely Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Bachelor of Science in Interior Design. Both programs are under the College of Architecture and Design.

It is undeniably amazing to see how Enderun Colleges has changed over the years: from occupying a space to having our own beautiful campus in Fort Bonifacio, from 80 pioneer students to over a thousand students, from offering only one degree program to having multiple programs.

There is no doubt that Enderun Colleges is home to future global leaders and one of the best schools when it comes to culinary arts, hotel and restaurant management, business administration, and entrepreneurship.

Reminiscing how Enderun has evolved over the years makes the community look forward to the day Titans will be able to step into the campus again.
