Greetings everyone! It’s a pleasure to let you know that we have made a podcast called “Hey There, Titans!” wherein we talk about student life, our lifestyles, and all the happenings in the Enderun community.
The previous months have been challenging for all of us because of the pandemic. As such, we have stayed inside our houses for a long time since most social gatherings are canceled, travels are limited and outdoor activities are controlled. Hence, home is the safest place for all of us.
The culinary industry is an intense and demanding field to work in. From starting in a kitchen to creating your own restaurant, an individual must possess intense determination, and certain skills in order to make a name for themselves.
Your style defines you. In this new normal, how do you style yourself in the dimensions of your gadgets? Ever since the pandemic started, the course of life has totally changed and our education is not an exemption; students went from having face to face classes to online classrooms.
In the last edition of The Pivot , we showed how the Enderun students have been coping with the pandemic. The more personal and emotional side effects of this pandemic were shared from the students’ stories.
Last February 22, 2021, the Enderun Food and Wine Society held a panel discussion called “EFWS Industry Talks: Career Focus: Jobs in the Wine Industry.” Hosted by Mr. Thirdy Ramirez, President of EFWS, and moderated by Ms. Chie Gatchalian of Five and a Half Twists.
Last February 26, the IHM Special Projects Team held “IHM Meet and Eat” as the team’s last event during Student Life Week. Hosted by Michella Dib, this event was intended to bring together students and professors of the IHM Department for an afternoon of bonding.
Annyeonghaseyo! We know a lot of successful alumni that are now on top of their industry, but how many successful Korean alumni do you guys know? Last February 23rd, the IHM Special Projects Team, under Ms. Bel Castro, organized “In Conversation with: Caleb Han,” an event for the Korean IHM community.
Last February 22 and 23, the IHM Special Projects Team, headed by Michella Dib, hosted “Merienda Time,” a virtual social event held via Zoom and Discord. This event aimed to build new and genuine connections between students in different batches and even professors.
