Enderun’s Satellite Tutorial and Language Department Set To Open on July 20
Enderun Colleges will open its first satellite tutorial and language department in Ortigas on July 20, 2015.
The Study will offer Blended Learning and Online Programs, Foreign Language Classes, Academic Tutorials, College Review Workshops, and Young Learners’ Programs. These classes will be made available to learners of different ages and levels, particularly students from neighbouring schools such as POVEDA, Xavier School, Lourdes School, St. Paul Pasig and De La Salle Greenhills. The Study will also cater to foreign and local individuals who would like to develop their English communication skills as well as those who desire to enrich their knowledge of other languages. Employees who would need help in polishing their business English skills are also welcome to apply.
Loida Flojo, the head of the Tutorial and Language Department of Enderun Colleges says that Ortigas is a prime location to open the satellite facility. “Through opening our doors at The Podium, we will be able to cater to more students who reside in the north and capture the market in an area where more local and international schools are situated,” said Ms. Flojo. “Our center shall painstakingly promote independent learning and guided-discovery methods. At the end of each program, our students should be able to successfully thrive in their work or school environment”, she added.
Ortigas is known to be one of the busiest districts in Metro Manila. The Podium, where The Study shall be operating soon, will also be housing two BDO towers. Likewise, mall expansion is underway and construction shall come to completion by 2016 to be able to accommodate more shop goers and diners. Around ADB avenue, there are a number of multi-national corporations such as the Asian Development Bank. Through The Study’s robust corporate training programs, it is a primary aim for the students to become competent and result-driven individuals.
Enderun is optimistic that its flagship language department will address the students’ educational goals in northern Metro Manila, while Enderun’s main campus shall continue catering to residents of southern Metro Manila. The ultimate goal of The Study is to actively involve students in the learning process. Students who complete the programs are certainly set towards empowerment and self-reliance.
