Throughout the years, The Registered Students Organizations (RSO) at Enderun Colleges have morphed into a crucial foundation for creating a vibrant student community, providing opportunities for connections, and most evidently, evolving the ability of Enderun Titans to thrive in a professional development. Ms. Gabrielle Francisco, shared her vision for the future of RSOs alongside Student Life’s conceptions on this year’s RSO week.

The plan is to streamline and recalibrate—making it easier for RSOs to create their projects and events that are entrepreneurial, purposeful, and intentional.” She noted in our short but pleasant interview—the roles of student leaders to enhance engagement amongst participants is one they hope to spotlight. More so, Ms. Gabs emphasized the importance of streamlining administrative processes to support RSO’s better, whether within the campus or in external endeavors.

This notable approach was made in mind with the alignment of individual RSO initiatives of the Enderun community; giving student organizations the direction and motivation they need to succeed.

As for upcoming initiatives, Ms. Gabs expressed her excitement about integrating RSO events into the broader Enderun experience. “The events of RSOs would be the main attraction for the Enderun experience,” she explained. Major events on the horizon include the Saturday Night Frights (which was successfully implemented last October 26th), The Success Series by ELED in November, Christmas Bonanza in December, and the highly anticipated Titans Week coming in March 2025, all of which will be supported by Student Life.

Catherine Manalo, the Secretary General of the Enderun Junior Marketing Association (EDJMA), shared her insights about their booth theme for RSO Week, which encapsulates their branding. She explains, “Our booth theme is actually our branding—EDJMA’s brand.
Additionally, Catherine highlighted how their selected color palette and design was chosen to maintain a professional yet welcoming atmosphere. EDJMA, during its proposal, was constructed to provide valuable networking opportunities, allowing students to engage with professionals in the marketing fields with the utilization of seminars, competitions, and events that are linked to the Philippine Marketing Association (talk about mastermind that bag!).

Inaugurated President, Rafael “Rafa” Datoc and his team under E-Chrome, a rebranded Business Technology Management Organization, had one of the most standouts booths during the fair. In partnership with mobile payment service, GCash, the organization managed to Oohed and Aahed passersby with their sizable logo and posters. While INK has yet to interview the powerhouse group, the booth welcomed interested students with avid games, prizes and interactions from designated staff and members.

Psalmae Barrun, a Secretariat of the People and Development Committee from Enderun’s own Peer Facilitators Organization, explained that their booth design is focused on creating a light and fun atmosphere to connect transferees and new students while promoting mental health. “We train and hone members in project management, events, and leadership,” Pslamae stated, ensuring that beyond working skills, introspective aspects of life are passed down through generations of members.

As for Enderun’s Sole Economic Organization for Economic Development, ELED, encouraged all undergraduates of any course to participate in their One Piso Raffle containing special prizes! The booth, manned by their Project Manager—Chloe Caluag and Vice President, Gabrielle Peciller, saw a good surge of visitors who enjoyed the booth’s theme of currency (which is a cute addition that follows their logo’s color scheme of green) despite the heat.

Other RSOs also positioned their booth themes from meaningful aspects of campus life. The beloved Senior High School Organization, Artemis, took cues from the campus cats they care for; using color schemes to reflect their commitment (and affection) to the cats and kittens strolling on Enderun Grounds. Meanwhile, Hannah Trijano, Executive Director of Likha, explained that the colors adorning their booth—gold for talent, pink for harmony, and purple for love—represent the organization’s core values. Likha’s booth offered delicious treats like cookies and ice cream, along with fun games that provided entertainment for the Enderun community. And of course, who can forget the long-lasting Podcast Organization, Enderun Unmuted, who has spearheaded a student photobooth for all Titans to enjoy and utilize. Additionally, for our readers who prefer a more visual medium, EU has made a fun summary reel that best describes the light atmosphere observed throughout the fair.

As for other organizations, others opted to promote events and sign-ups using online platforms. Notably, Enderun’s Model UN (ECMUN) held sign-ups for their Collaborative Decorum Training with Ateneo MUN, Makati Hope Christian School MUN and Benilde MUN during RSO Week.

With these initiatives, RSOs are set to make a significant impact on Student Life at Enderun. Under the Student Life officers’ guidance like Ms. Gabs, and the creativity of Enderun Leaders, these organizations are poised to enhance the campus experience, always pursuing the opportunity for student engagement and empowerment through various events and initiatives. The future looks bright for RSOs as they continue to build a dynamic, connected, and purposeful community at Enderun Colleges.
