Titan Ladies take the WCSA Volleyball first runner up Championship

It was certainly a moment of triumph winning first runner-up in the WCSA Volleyball League, but it cost the Titan Ladies three painful sets to San Beda Alabang who took first place.

Even though Enderun lost this game to San Beda Alabang,  the Titan Ladies  won all previous games in the league, making us first runners up.

Under Captain Paulina Ong, our players, Queenie Ascutia, Rox Aputen, Mai Mai Bello, Jas Reyes, Sophia de la Torre and Jamie Tiu attacked with force and elegance. Blocking too was important against the San Beda spikes.

Three Enderun Ladies won special awards: Sophia De la Torre, Mai Mai Bello and Queenie Ascutia.

Three players won individual awards for excellence:  Moesha Sophia De la Torre – Best Attacker; Maria Isabella Bello – Best Libero; and Queenie Ascutia – Best Setter.

This is a first class performance for a very young team, mainly freshmen and sophomores. The team comprises only seven varsity players, so all them are first team, and no subs.
