Titans LOSE!

Ameena Athab presents the new Titans Mascot.

This was  painful game because our spirits were raised so high by the beating drums and the cheers of the Pep Squad led by Ameena Athab. The bleachers were packed with Enderun fans in this NAASCU League competition against Colegio de San Lorenzo Quezon City. This gave a big boost to our Titan varsity team.

We weren’t ready to lose. Titans led San Lorenzo 16 to 8 in the first quarter, but slipped down to trail the visitors 25 to 30 at the end of the half as their shooting guards Chabi Ro and Sablan found their range and scored with set shots and  tip-ins under the boards.

Our hopes were raised in the third quarter as our defense held the San Lorenzo team 50 to 47, with hard drives by Nunez, Vidal, Dungan and aggressive board work by Wabo and Grilli. 

Wabo grabbed several rebounds.

But in the fourth quarter, San Lorenzo caught their second wind and held down our scorers as they sunk in  easy baskets and several foul shots.

Despite our loss 66 to 61, the Titans played a tough game, San Lorenzo really had to fight for every point they gained. We are proud of our Titan team!
