Chef Richard Ekkebus is the Culinary Director of Amber, the fine-dining restaurant of The Landmark Mandarin Oriental in Hong Kong.

Chef Richard Ekkebus, Director of Culinary Operations and Food and Beverage at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental came to Enderun Colleges for a culinary demonstration and introduced his two-Michelin star restaurant- Amber.

He joined Mandarin Oriental nine years ago. Through his management, Amber earned two-Michelin stars and a place in the highly-coveted World’s 50 Best Restaurants for three years in a row.

Chef Ekkebus expressed his desire to take in more Enderun students for internship this summer. Two Enderun students: Bertha Javier and Patricia Bautista, are currently having their internship at The Landmark Mandarin Oriental.
