Leaders Igniting Sparks

“Leadership is not about titles, positions, or work hours. It’s about relationships” – Jim Kouzes

Do you believe that leadership qualities are innate or acquired? Most people would debate about this topic but here in Enderun Colleges we believe that every Titan is capable of being a leader. Leadership is not about following a professor’s orders, setting rules in the classroom, or even having a position that makes you superior to others. Instead, leadership is about inspiring people, setting an example, creating a vision and motivating people to make it a reality. It’s about focusing on positive outcomes. Lucky you because you are in the right environment to hone your leadership skills and one way to improve it is to join leadership programs.

Leadership programs are designed to train individuals to grow their skill sets, abilities, confidence, and of course to be future leaders of their chosen industries. These programs help in developing your communication skills, improving your confidence, and even learning how to properly connect with people. Leadership programs would usually “put you out there”, to be exposed to project management, working with other people, and building relationships that will benefit you in the long run. Some of the benefits of leadership programs are that students will be able to develop a great understanding of their own personal identities and how this would shape their leadership style and fellowship with other students. Students will also realize that serving as a leader is not just about holding a position but it is a lifestyle.

Our very own Enderun leadership program is an exclusive program that aims to equip students to meet the demands of leadership in the 21st century. They involve students to participate in programs, event planning and let them pitch in various ideas that will hone their leadership skills while bringing impact to the community. They also partner up with different RSO’s and conduct multiple upskill webinars and events for students who want to learn more about different skills, and initiate donation drives for organizations outside campus. Students who are interested in joining the leadership program would have exclusive leadership training both inside and outside the classroom. They would have exposure trips with real-world leadership scenarios and issues, and they would also have the opportunity to represent the school in third-party programs and events. Being part of the leadership program would also have its perks: priority enlistment during enrollment, the opportunity to receive mentorship from our very own President Ed Rodriguez and his leadership team, and receive special recognition during graduation.

Leadership is a process not a position. Enderun Colleges offers a lot of opportunities for students who see themselves in the spirit of service. You can join different organizations and programs, and even competitions to grow your skill set. The school will consistently guide and hone you with the leadership qualities you may discover about yourself and encourage every Titan to bring out your inner spark and be future leaders of your chosen careers.
