This final game against PWU for the WCSA championship was laced from beginning to end with an optimistic dynamism and unstoppable self-confidence. It began with a slow first quarter, broken up by numerous fouls on both sides. PWU guarded the Titans man to man, seeking to slow down our drives and steal the ball. Both teams scored a limp 11-8 with the Titans leading by 3.

The second quarter sparked more action with Fayth Pangilinan, Shen Callangan; Abi Manzanares  and Joy Pumaren scoring with their daring drives. Francine Geli finished the half with a beautiful one hand lay-up, the PWU guard right on top of her. The Titans now stretched ahead 27-18.

PWU now exhausted by their man-to-man guarding and only three subs, relaxed to a structured 2-3 defense and improved their scoring to reach 34 points against the Titan lead of 44.
