ENDERUN: The unknown, the challenge, the adventure.

Like others in my class, my early introduction to Enderun Colleges was through social media. 2017 loomed large for me, as the new senior high school program of Enderun spread like wildfire on the Internet. Hopes of being counted among those incoming senior high school students all of a sudden became real —a spot for me in the pioneer batch of Enderun Grades 11 and 12!

On this modern campus, however, I felt like a very small fish in a very large fish pond.  Walking down the hallways of Enderun, day dreaming of the opportunities of this institute was initially daunting because we were instantly surrounded by students of all college year levels. I saw this, however, as an opportunity to explore a larger social bubble.

Enderun’s European designed buildings drives us to serious study and motivates our involvement in college life. As I look up to our upperclassmen, I imagine myself a collegiate one day soon. The line-up of professional faculty keynotes Enderun’s  professional orientation— teachers who are also professional business mentors.

The ABM track, Accountancy, Business and Management build the foundations for all the college core courses. These courses, in turn, are supported by SDG or the Sustainable Development Goals. Every Enderun course holds the ideas of protecting and sustaining the ecological and social environment at its core.

Far from being a purely bookish atmosphere, Titans Week gave us a chance to try out all kinds of sports, particularly basketball, volleyball and futsal. The games develop a spirit of sportsmanship and drive our energies to teamwork.  Then Camp Us happened.  This is a special overnight event complete without a giant bonfire , singing and bonding.

Now Midterms, which means reports and exams-stress!  I was surprised to encounter many creative, yet challenging exams.  We also learned team studying with both 11 and 12 graders.

I know this is only the beginning of an Enderun education,  but already I am seeing the larger picture—a fun learning environment that is full of surprises and challenges and a larger social and cultural world, both of which will lead to a better version of myself and the best opportunities for my future. I know I have chosen the right school.
