Thanks for the all-College Effort for PACUCOA Accreditation

by Sonny Alfonso, INK

“We are making progress on accreditation and that is of ultimate importance and very critical  for our institution. Thanks for the effort and personal sacrifice.”  Jack Tuason, Co-Founder and Member of the Board of Trustees

Enderun College went through a tension-filled two days during the onsite inspection of the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation.  The inspection occurred over March 9-10, and faculty and students were briefed on the visit; all asked to be prepared to respond to questions about the physical plant, facilities for teaching and physical education, course curricula, programs, and Enderun’s mission goals and corporate vision.

In appreciation of the overall Enderun effort, the Administration initiated Titans’ Week with an informal dinner serving do-it-yourself tacos and macaroni. Michelle Cerrer emceed karaoke songs and some parlor games. The only ‘formality’ was a brief word from Enderun Co-founder and Member of the Board of Trustees, Jack Tuason who highlighted a number of the gains this year.

Early prognostications lean towards a more positive view by the PACUCOA visiting team, and discussions with top management provided a more comprehensive view of the College achievements and contribution to society, in particular to the business world, both in the Philippines and internationally. The Enderun expectation, said Jack Tuason,  is an enhanced accreditation and ranking vis a vis educational institutions with similar vision and goals, and international standing.
