What are the Economic Issues that Matter to Young Voters?

A survey was circulated among Enderun students that asked them to rank certain economic issues we Filipinos face in today’s world. The following struggles are poverty, climate change, COVID-19, gender inequality (LGBTQ+), feminism, social media feuds, governmental flaws, inflation, and employment/unemployment. All these problems must be brought to the spotlight regardless of their rank. Nonetheless, knowing what the youth aims to prioritize can lend us a deeper insight into the needs the generation aches for today. Respondents were tasked with ranking these issues according to their personal opinions of importance and urgency. Through this exercise, the collective priorities of the Enderun student body become clear.

Important Election Terminologies

The Philippines is a Republic and Democratic government. Nowadays, some people are clueless about what kind of government our country has. These common misunderstandings and/or ignorances toward politics may cause detrimental results to our society. Simply not knowing political terminologies has the chance to spread fake news and cloud others’ beliefs. The Enderun Wishlist | The Longing Wishes of Every Titan

It may be a struggle to come up with a Christmas wish list because we tend to worry about judgment from others when we send it to them. Moreover, we are limited to doing so because of the pandemic. The majority of the things on our list can be a hassle to get in person and even online; everything may be sold out! Others may think that the things on their list are too expensive or what they want is odd. With this, I asked multiple Enderun students through a survey via Google Forms what they wanted for Christmas. I told them to be ambitious, to think outside of the box, and wish for something bigger even if it most probably would not be given. Their answers reflected their true wishes, as well as their authentic Titan hearts and traits.

Zonta, the Definition of Feminism

It’s insane to have to mold yourself into a standard of physical and social attributes, even more so for women. The past created impossible standards for them to fulfill, like to never outshine a man’s success. The double-standard for men and women is still very evident in today’s society, and it needs to be not only addressed but dealt with.
