Team Enderun Triumphs Anew in Flavors Culinary Challenge
The trio of Rachelle Yu, Cirene Chua and Thea Fu represented Enderun in the recently concluded Flavors Culinary Challenge 2011. They competed against 5 other schools and emerged victorious with their menu of Noodles with Light Mushroom Broth, Cepes and Enoki (Creative Noodle Dish), Stuffed Free-range Chicken, Glazed Potato, Sundried Tomato and Parsley Sauce (Chicken Main Course), and Yogurt Mousse with Roasted Pineapple and Green Apple Coulis (Yogurt Dessert).
This victory is the latest in a string of successes by Team Enderun in culinary competitions that started with Gen Oliva and Joma Tuaño winning the Philippine Culinary Cup in August 2010. Oliva and Tuaño have since graduated and are now involved in the training of the new Culinary Team.
Not to be caught resting on their laurels, Yu, Chua, Fu and the rest of the team are back in the kitchens training hard for upcoming competitions such as WOFEX in August where the Philippine Culinary Cup will again be held.
