Career Services Office
A department not usually found in other schools, is Enderun Colleges’ Career Services Office, located at the second floor of the Business Administration Building. This dedicated office offers relevant internship programs to its students and quality placement opportunities for its alumnus. It also builds and maintains its relationships with over 150 worldwide industry partners which provide such opportunities. In addition, the office offers career-related workshops and seminars to aid students in preparing for their careers.
The Career Services Office is made up of four people. Ms. Ana Tuason-Galang is responsible for the job placements of the students, alumni relations, international industry partner relationships, and career counseling for the students. Ms. Ayie Salipot is in charge of Business Administration internships and assists Ms. Ana in her responsibilities. Ms. Nicole Suarez handles International Hospitality Majors’ (IHM) internships, affairs with the local industry partners, the Employers Portal and Hospitality Career Events. And last, but not the least is Ms. Celina Suntay, who handles administration affairs and assists Ms. Ayie with internships applications.
The remarkable efforts of the people behind this office has made Enderun the first school in the Philippines to establish partnerships with some of the finest hospitality establishments worldwide, such as the Hotel Arts Barcelona in Spain, The Hyatt Lake Tahoe in the US, The Trader’s Hotel Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia, The Raffles Hotel in Beijing, and the Hotel Martinez in Cannes, France. Last April 2011, the office successfully launched the internship alliance with the Alain Ducasse Group.
Enderun students should be aware how this office can help them get great internship opportunities and the right job placement afterwards. Students can visit the office any time they wish for any concerns about internships, job placements or information about upcoming seminars or company overviews. It is strongly suggested that they should visit the office once in their freshmen year to begin planning their careers and once before graduation for their job placement.
The Career Services says that it is never too early to plan your careers, especially in the business and hospitality sectors. There are many opportunities that students should be aware of. Take advantage of all the seminars, workshops and services that the office provides as it will help you reach your goals.
