During Christmas, there must be at least one four-year-old kid somewhere in the world who refuses to go to bed and patiently awaits the arrival of Santa Claus. With youth comes the magical wonder of Christmas. However, as we grow up, the festive season soon begins to feel very mundane. And when we are in the middle of a pandemic, there is even a possibility that we dread it.
When you hear the song lyrics “🎵Whenever I see boys and girls… 🎵” , a famous song from Filipino singer Jose Mari Chan on the 1st day of September, you will know that Christmas is just around the corner. Three months might seem like a long period of time to prepare for the holiday season, but before you know it, the most awaited time has arrived.
How do you feel when you visit a country that you’ve never been to before? Perhaps you want to see the beauty and experience all of the attractions all at once? Or, how about this…You find yourself in a completely unfamiliar environment feeling lost because you don’t fit in.
Antoinette Taus, also known as Toni Taus, is an award-winning actress and singer in The Philippines but has now dedicated her time to becoming an influential changemaker. Taus is a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environmental Program as well as the Founder of CORA and The Sustainable Planet. On the 18th of October, 2021, Toni was invited by Enderun Care to speak about her journey and accumulated wisdom so far.

Hello everyone! I am Chloe De La Gente, a sophomore student studying BSBA Operations Management, and I have been studying abroad since my freshman year. Due to the pandemic, I have not been able to fly back to the Philippines, and I have to do my online classes in another country. This basically means I have to adjust my entire life to not fall behind on my classes, miss any requirements, and be able to attend my organization meetings – thanks to the time zone!
